Description
Elvendal Farm has operated in Hills since 2009, selling spring annuals at local spring garden fests, online ordering and farmers’ markets. As spring matures toward summer, our farm makes a lot of food sold mostly at Nakusp Farmers’s market. We have occasionally gone to New Denver Farmers’ market, but the amount of time for the small amount of produce sold does not generally justify losing another day to marketing. We produce a lot of lettuce, broccoli, Cauli, cabbage, cucumbers, and many other products. We also raise and sell dairy goats. Goats are a critical part of our farm nutrient cycling and fertility.
