The purpose of the study is to assess long-term rental situation, factors impacting it, and potential issue-based solutions including feasibility of a new property management service in Nakusp and area.
The scope of this study include Electoral Area K of the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK – in red below). Communities within this area include Nakusp, Burton, Fauquier, and Edgewood. The study also considered Hills, Roseberry, New Denver, Silverton, Slocan, and Kaslo as these are all locations in commutable distance for a Nakusp based Property Manager.
